Books Read October 2019

He that loves reading has everything within his reach. – William Godwin

Today I want to do a run through of what I read last month. And I read one non-fiction which is exciting, although often I read more than that, still it is better than last month.

Anyways, let’s start!

Stiff by Mary Roach

10/11/19

This was about cadavers and how they have been used to further science. I know that this is a bit macabre of a read, but it was still fascinating.

Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson

10/12/19

This is a complex fantasy and the third book in the series. The worst part of this book is that the next one is not out.

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare

10/19/19

This one was okay. I liked how it brought in Celtic mythology which is one of the mythologies that is my favorite. I always enjoy it when mythology is brought to modern times.

Love Comes Softly by Janette Oke

10/22/19

It is about a man and a woman finding love after they think that they will never love again. This is one of those sweet books that I always I enjoy reading.

The Penderwicks at Point Mouette by Jean Birdsall

10/22/19

I listened to this one. It is about four sisters as they have their summer holidays and learn about themselves and their mistakes. This is a children’s book that I still enjoy now.

Love’s Long Journey by Janette Oke

10/26/19

I just like this series.

Love’s Abiding Joy by Janette Oke

10/28/19

This is a sweet, fun book to read when life is just busy and you need something easy.

So, that is what I read this October. It is kind of amusing that when I finished them tends to be close together, but that is because I often have more than one book going at a time.

What did you read this October?
