Inside and Out Book Tag

That’s the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet. – Jhumpa Lahiri

Books are some of my favorite things, so today I have a book tag that I found on Secret Library Book Blog.

I hope that you enjoy it!

1. Inside flap/Back of the book summaries: Too much info? Or not enough?

I like the amount of information that is there. It helps me to know if I actually want to read the book.

2. New book: What form do you want it in? Be honest: Audiobook, E-Book, Paperback, or Hard cover?

I would rather have the book in hardcover. They are usually the most durable and pretty. Though right now my bookshelf is full, so maybe right now I would maybe rather have e-books, although really I like hard covered books best.

3. Scribble while you read? Do you like to write in your books, take notes, make comments, or do you keep your books clean clean clean?

I don’t write in my books. Maybe one day, but I don’t want to do something to a book that I would regret later.

4. Does it matter to you whether the author is male or female when you’re deciding on a book? What if you’re unsure of the author’s gender?

No, not at all. I read stories for the stories, not for who wrote them.

5.  Ever read ahead? or have you ever read the last page way before you got there?

Yes, especially when I am trying to figure out if I am going to just stop reading a book in the middle.

6.  Organized bookshelves, or outrageous bookshelves?

I like my book shelf to be very organized. I actually have it in alphabetical order at the moment, although I have also arranged my books by genres.

7.  Have you ever bought a book based on the cover (alone)?

Not yet. It is one of those things that I plan on doing one day, but I haven’t done it yet. I have picked out books from the library based on the cover alone.

8. Take it outside to read, or stay in?

I tend to prefer to read inside just because there are usually more comfortable places to sit, but I do like reading outside sometimes.

I hope that you enjoyed reading this! If you feel the inclination, please consider yourself tagged!
