The important thing is not to stop questioning. – Albert Einstein
I saw this book tag and I thought that it looked fun. So, here I am doing another book tag.
I hope that you will enjoy reading this so much that you will try this book tag on your own blog! I didn’t make this up, but if you want to try it that would be great.
Do you have a specific place for reading?
Not really. I can read just about anywhere. I read in bed, on the floor, on a sofa, in the car, and those are just some of the more common places that I’ll read.
Bookmark or random pieces of paper?
Bookmarks. It’s actually easier to find a bookmark in my house than it is to find a random piece of paper.
Can you stop anywhere or must it be at the end of a chapter?
I would rather stop at the end of a chapter, but I can stop anywhere.
Do you eat or drink while reading?
Drinking, yes. Reading while drinking tea is amazing.
Eating, often. Although I do try to make sure that what I’m eating is not too messy.
Music or TV while reading?
Music, yes. TV, no.
One book at a time or several?
Several definitely! Right now I am reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowlings, How Should We Then Live? by Francis A. Schaeffer, and Evil Under the Sun by Agatha Christie.
Do you prefer to read at home or elsewhere?
Home. It is easier to concentrate on the book when I’m in a familiar setting.
Read out loud or silently?
Usually, I read silently. Although when the language is super powerful I do occasionally read out loud.
Do you read ahead or skip pages?
I only read ahead when I am not enjoying a story and I am trying to decide if I am going to continue reading it. I don’t skip pages because I am always worried that I am going to miss something important.
Break the spine or keep it like new?
I try to keep my books like new whenever possible, but it they don’t end up like that I just have to deal with it.
Do you write in your books?
No, although I have corrected typos in some of them.
What books are you reading right now?
I did list them above, but I suppose that you want to see them again.
- Evil Under the Sun by Agatha Christie
I really like her books.
- How Should We Then Live? by Francis A. Schaeffer
This is a very interesting book.
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
This is probably my favorite Harry Potter book.
Favorite childhood book?
Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I used to make my parents read this to be over and over again. I loved pretending that I was one of the characters and pretending that I leaved in a cabin in the woods.
I hope that you have found this book tag interesting. I had a lot of fun doing it.
Now here is a question for you: What are you reading right now? Also if you would like to answer any of the other questions, I would love to hear your answers!
